Hola! We are Olorum Bahia Capoeira. This group has been created to promote Capoeira in Cairo (Egypt) and also to give information to the members. Here in Cairo, Classes are given by Flama, under the supervision of Professor Pesao and Professor Passoka in France. We will upload pictures and videos.

Olorum Bahia Capoeira Cairo is the first certified group in Egypt, under the patronage of Professor Pesao and Professor Passoka in Olorum Capoeira Clichy, France. Last June the group had their first ever Batizado and Troca de Corda in Egypt, with our Professores attending and two students (Cansado and Cabelinho) and visiting Instructors Pixote from Senzala Sharm el Sheikh (Montpellier with Mestre Sorriso) and Graduado Negro from Abada Capoeira Oman. 23 Cordaos were given and we gave a show at the Sawi Culturewheel as the climax of our festival. This was our fourth show since we started practicing in Cairo.

We practice 3 times a week; Sunday (Music Class), Tuesday and Thursday 8-10 PM at the Cairo Fencing Club (Cercle Egyptienne d'Escrime) next to Opera Square. Beginners are welcome in all those classes. We hope to see you soon!! Our website is http://olorum.capoeira.over-blog.com/
