Our group is about pure capoeira. We respect and practice both Regional and Angola, so as to have an equal understanding of this Afro-Brazilian art. At our class you will learn movements, instruments, language, and more! Brito Neto, who is our groups founder and Professor, trained with Mestre Mago in Centro de Capoeira Sao Salomao. He has over 25 years experience and founded Shekhinah in 2008. Brito has an amazing understanding of this simple yet complex, beautifully dangerous art. His love for capoeira can be seen not only in his enthusiasm to teach but his patience to ensure that every student learns the right movements the right way.
