How do I get my batizado sponsorship started?

Plan your batizado sponsorship early! Three to six months before your batizado, begin your sponsorship by following these three steps:

1. Post your school’s profile and event details in our Virtual Capoeira Community to market your school and upcoming event online. If you have not yet posted your school profile, log into your account home and click “New School Profile” under your Affiliate Tools to list your school’s contact information, logo, and class schedule online. To post your event, log into your account, select the Events menu in the Virtual Capoeira Community, and click “Post an Event” to market your event to capoeiristas worldwide.

2. Place your affiliate link on your school’s website to start earning referral commissions and SchoolPoints early. Jumpstart your batizado funds by saving those cash commissions and SchoolPoints to use toward event costs and free gear from the Virtual Capoeira store. As your event draws nearer, you will also receive VirtualCapoeira.com fliers promoting your Affiliate Promo Code to ensure sales from your students and event guests are credited to your account. 3. Contact us to request your sponsorship. Send us an email to let us know you intend to take advantage of your annual sponsorship, and be sure to include your name, the name of your school, and the date of your upcoming batizado. At that time, you’ll receive a copy of the VirtualCapoeira.com logo to include on any event t-shirts, banners, or other print marketing planned for your event.

What added benefits do I receive with my batizado sponsorship?

Once you’ve completed the above three steps, VirtualCapoeira.com will remain in contact with you to help you receive the following sponsorship benefits:

$100.00 USD of free merchandise

As part of your sponsorship,VirtualCapoeira.com will donate up to $100.00 USD of free Virtual Capoeira merchandise to be used to help promote or fund your event as you see fit. You can elect to sell the merchandise to help raise funds, award the merchandise to students achieving special rankings, or gift merchandise to special guests. We’ve also seen schools have great success raising funds by awarding merchandise in raffles or new student drives where prizes are given to students who refer new sign-ups to the studio. Six to eight weeks before your batizado, you’ll receive an approved list of Virtual Capoeira products available for your choice of free merchandise.

Three free replacement arames

We know what three hours of nonstop berimbau playing can do to your school’s stock of arames. As an added bonus, we’re confident you’ll appreciate three complimentary replacement arames to have on hand at your event—just in case.

Free full-color fliers promoting your VirtualCapoeira.com Affiliate Promo Code

With your free merchandise you’ll also receive full-color fliers recognizing our sponsorship to pass out to students and spectators at your event. Each flier reminds guests to help your school earn free gear by typing your Affiliate Promo Code during checkout every time they buy from VirtulCapoeira.com. We’ll even include stickers listing your unique Affiliate Code to attach to the fliers so you can be sure SchoolPoints and commissions are credited to your account.

A bonus “no limits” wholesale order for any Capoeira gear you still need

Need some extra cord or instruments but not enough to meet the wholesale minimums? As part of your sponsorship, VirtualCapoeira.com will allow you to take advantage of an annual “no limits” wholesale order to get anything else you need for your batizado at discounted prices without being required to buy in bulk. That means you can order those few extra pants, DVDs, or even a new atabaque you’ve wanted at a discount directly through your affiliate account online.

Please note that wholesale orders must be placed within a six week window—no earlier than three months before your batizado, and no later than six weeks before the day of your batizado. We recommend placing the order at least eight weeks before your batizado to ensure your entire order has ample time to be processed, shipped, and then arrive with time to spare.
